Dr. Nancy White received her B.A.  in Political Science from Mount Holyoke College and her M.A. and Ph.D. in History from American University. Her research and teaching specialties include Women's history and the American South. Currently, Dr. White is conducting research on the Southern Young Women's Christian Associations (YWCA).  She received funds from AASU to complete her research for a chapter in an upcoming book on the women of Mississippi due in January.
