The King-Tisdell Cottage Foundation is an organization dedicated to African American historical and cultural experience. Their mission is to research, colelct, interpret, and present the history and contributions of African Americans to the public. The focus is on Georgia and the sea islands of South Carolina. To accomplish their mission, the King-Tisdell Cottage Foundation houses collections in two buildings and offers a tour.Beach Institute
