Pinpoint is a small African American community on the Skidaway River. For most of its existence it has been involved in oystering and crabbing. This cannery building (red roof in center of frame) is one of the remaining structures in a seafood processing plant that closed in 1986. It can best be viewed from the bridge over the river. The building of the bridge and causeway dried up Pinpoint's waterfront access.
