The scenes from this collage of pictures are of the choral group, men in the pool hall, the reading room, and the Camp 460 basketball team.

During the Spring and Summer, the obvious attraction was the beach at Tybee Island.  There were virtually no deserters from Fort Pulaski during the beach season.

The enrollees also enjoyed visiting Savannah.  It was here that many of the men met their future wives.

Athletic teams were also set up for the men to participate in team sports.

There was a library at the Fort where the men could check out books for pleasure reading or read articles in current magazines
